Book a Scientist
17–18 September 2026
Private Homes, South Tyrol
Duration: approx. 90 minutes
A project by
Caroline Barneaud e Stefan Kaegi (Rimini Protokoll)
A collaboration between
Transart e Eurac Research
Science is stepping out of the lab and straight into South Tyrol’s living rooms. Book a Scientist, a collaboration between Transart and Eurac Research, turns scientific research into an informal conversation between researchers and the community. Inspired by the Rent a Musician format, the project breaks down institutional barriers to foster a dialogue among equals in the comfort of your home. Forget academic lectures: each encounter is guided by a creative kit designed by Caroline Barneaud and Stefan Kaegi (Rimini Protokoll) — a collection of questions, prompts, and interactive games created to spark spontaneous exchange.
It’s an invitation to open your doors and experience science in a whole new way, turning curiosity into a meaningful and fun human connection.
