RIOT DAYS is a story of resistance, repression and revolution. Based on the book of the same name by Maria Alyokhina of Pussy Riot - a protest collective founded in Russia in 2011 - this performance transcends all traditional labels, as did its creators. At the crossroads between a concert and a theatrical performance, a rally and a political happening, Pussy Riot bring topics such as feminism, LGBTQ+ rights and their strenuous opposition to President Vladimir Putin's regime to the stage. Having performed over 200 shows in most of Europe, the United States, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, Pussy Riot hold numerous prestigious international awards.
