NOVA SELVA SONORA

Nova Selva Sonora is a new project by the Azione_Improvvisa ensemble, aimed at exploring extremely rich and diverse sound worlds, in which the visual experience takes over to create a bridge with the sound dimension. At the heart of the project is a suggestion: that of a forest where time compresses and dilates, and where human presence becomes elusive or transposed, double or absent. The musical narration is entrusted to the four musiciansə of Azione_Improvvisa: Andrea Antonel on the theorbo, Margherita Berlanda on accordion, Pietro Paolo Dinapoli on electric guitar and Daniela Fantechi on electronics. New works by Mauro Lanza, Maurizio Azzan and Einike Leppik, alternate with an installation version of Lula Romero's work, creating an immersive sound path, where the pieces follow one another seamlessly.
