Oozing Earth

for voice, extreme-metal drummer and ensemble

Oozing Earth (2019) is an experimental musical project, which blends seemingly irreconcilable auditory and linguistic codes, such as black and death metal and contemporary classical music. There is no contradiction in this unusual combination, in which harmony gives way to expressive power. Oozing Earth evokes the last act of terrestrial and human life, painting a soundscape of the end of time. In this musical Apocalypse, the fruit of the genius of Austrian composer Bernhard Gander, it is not the trumpets of angels that resound, but instead the voice of Attila Csihar, the drums of Flo Mounier - exceptional leading figures in the international extreme metal scene, and the incredible talent of the musicians of the Ensemble Moderne.
