Nauz
With “Nauz”, we find ourselves in the world of sacrificial rituals. Roberta Dapunt’s poems on pig-slaughtering combine crude images with poetry and render the act of murdering a process of survival and of tracing inner intensity. The music by Eduard Demetz uses these pictures and reverses them by creating a tonal parallel world. By means of her performative interventions, the Romanian artist Teodora Axente interweaves text and music in an area of conflict between spirituality and materiality.
