Voices and Piano

Music and voice are the protagonists of Peter Ablinger compositions for the pianist Nicolas Hodges: epic deeds in music –still in progress- with 80 parts dedicated to as many famous characters, the voices of whom are set in a dialogue with music performed on piano. World premiere for the part dedicated to Ezra Pound’s voice: texts from interviews, speeches, readings leading us to a distant reality, perceived and brought back by the piano.
