Mythologies

Mythologies is the first composition for orchestra by Thomas Bangalter, co-founder of the legendary duo Daft Punk. An expansive and lyrical work—in which Bangalter reinvents his relationship with composition after years spent playing and recording with the famous electro-duo—Mythologies was completed in 2022 in collaboration with choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, author of the ballet of the same name, presented last year at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. No computers or synthesisers: just the skilful hands of the Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano, under the leadership of conductor Lee Reynolds, will perform the Italian premiere of the performance in concert form.
